CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, is a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains, and supports volunteers who advocate for children who have been abused or neglected. CASA of Central Virginia serves around 200 children in the greater Lynchburg area each year with about 80 volunteer advocates (or as we like to call them, superheroes). Many children can’t run from abuse. We dare you to move, get involved, make an impact, and help change your community for the better.
